Hair gets glamorous!

When you look around the room at the holiday party, you'll notice that whether tidy or tousled, the glamorous hair is always piled high! You might assume it would take a stylist to achieve this style, but in fact you can certainly pull it off (or, rather, up) yourself!

In preparation, consider a roller set under the dryer or use hot rollers--not for the curl, but for the volume! After combing out, stand up, flip your head toward the front and flip your hair back (Why not be dramatic? It's the holidays!), then gather your hair into the desired height. Keep a few pieces loose on the sides if you're going for a sassy and untamed effect. Pull the hair back as if you were doing a ponytail, twist clockwise, bring up, and pin into place for the look of your choice.

If you have fringe bangs or long, uneven pieces, style by tucking them behind the ear or blending them into the updo. Extend shorter hair with a glamorous faux hairpiece, then style accordingly. Don't overthink this style; it should look effortless and elegant.

Last, spritz with a hint of holding spray, or be dazzling with Frédéric Fekkai Sparkling Shimmer Spray. . . .

Done!
